Permissions Used

Android

To function properly, the Android version may request:

  • Input Method Service: Required for core keyboard functionality.
  • Vibration / Sound (Optional): Provides haptic or audio feedback if enabled by the user.
  • Internet Access (Optional): Only used for downloading additional language packs or updates in the future.
    • No personal data is uploaded or transmitted.
    • The app works fully offline.

iOS

The iOS version may request:

  • Full Access (Optional): Only if the user wants additional features (e.g., extended settings or downloadable language packs).
    • Even with Full Access enabled, the app does not read, store, or transmit typed content.
  • Keyboard Access: Required for basic functionality.

Both platforms:

  • All operations are processed locally on the device.
  • No external servers are used for data handling.

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not share any data with anyone.

  • No data is transmitted from your device.
  • No third-party SDKs, analytics, or advertising frameworks are integrated.
  • The app does not show ads and does not track user behavior.

Security

Kirat Keyboard is built to operate securely within Android and iOS sandbox environments.

  • The app does not log keystrokes.
  • All preference settings (such as themes or key-press feedback) are stored locally using secure system storage.
  • No cloud storage or remote logging is used.
  • The keyboard is safe for sensitive information such as passwords and financial details.

Children’s Privacy

Kirat Keyboard is safe for users of all ages, including children.

  • No personal information is collected from children.
  • The app contains no advertisements, no tracking, no external links, and no in-app purchases.

International Use

Whether you use Kirat Keyboard in the EU, US, or any other region, your data remains on your device.
Since we do not collect or process personal data, major privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, and Apple Privacy Guidelines are naturally respected.
